Playas del Coco is a beach town located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, just an hour from the city of Liberia and a half an hour away from the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport.
Once a quiet fishing village, Playas del Coco is now one of the most popular destinations in Guanacaste. Coco is great starting point for exploring Guanacaste and is known as a hotspot for diving, deep sea fishing, and more. It’s a great family destination and has a large retiree community as well.
